柔佛古廟

柔佛古廟是在19世纪建的，在1870年在港主陳旭年的帶領下命名。古廟供奉五尊神明，包括潮幫的主神元天上帝外，左邊是福幫洪仙大帝，右邊是客幫感天大 帝，主神兩邊有武將華光大帝及趙大元師，分别由廣肇幫和瓊帮供奉。柔佛古廟在1995年到1996年參入大方裝修。柔佛古廟位於直律街 (Jalan Trus)。

每年的农历正月二十一,柔佛古廟将会举行一年一度的盛大游神仪式.五大神明将有五大籍贯护驾出游.而新山人的农历新年会在游神之后结束.


The Chingay Parade a.k.a 妆艺大游行 is an annual street parade held in Malaysia as part of Chinese New Year festivities. The term Chingay itself originated in Southeast Asia, particularly in Penang, Malaysia which is a phonetic equivalent of the Chinese words "妆艺", which means "a decorated miniature stage" or float, Today, the parade has evolved into a massive multi-cultural and international event telecast live on television every year.

Later tonight in JB got an annually Chingay Parade! so all my friend are so busy to decorate their own lorry or van just to participate the Chingay, let's see how they do it!

it took the whole afternoon just to place the dragon nicely on top of the lorry! sweat.. luckily i'm not participate with them..
